Our COMMUTER TRANSPORTATION Champion
Amy plans and implements the Stanford Research Park award-winning commute program to provide convenient, attractive, and affordable transportation options to everyone who works in the Research Park.
A Career in Transportation
Before joining the Stanford Research Park team, Amy was the Transportation Manager at VMware (now Broadcom), a Research Park tenant company. Originally from the Atlanta area, she has provided Transportation Demand Management services for hundreds of organizations across the U.S. Today, Amy enjoys being part of the continual evolution of transportation to help people save on commute costs, time, and reduce commute-related stress. She also enjoys being part of the vibrancy found at the office - The Hub at Stanford Research Park.
A Transportation Advocate
Amy has been a carpool, transit, bicyclist, and pedestrian commuter and lived in several locales across the Bay Area. She understands the challenges of commuting first-hand.
When not managing commuter transportation programs and services for the Research Park, she enjoys spending time with her family, getaways, practicing self-care, and learning, and trying new things in the realms of food, culture, and arts.
