3 Million Miles Saved

September 21, 2018 • Transportation

Stanford Research Park partnered with Scoop to provide a convenient and enjoyable way for employees to get to work. This month, we’re excited to announce that the SRP community has saved 3 MILLION MILES by carpooling with Scoop.

To date, over 7,000 SRP commuters have registered with Scoop to improve their daily commutes. 85% of Scoop Carpoolers report feeling less stressed about their commute and 84% say they make connections with their fellow carpoolers.

These 3 million miles saved also represent an impressive reduction in carbon footprint. By saving 3 million miles, SRP’s Scoop Community has prevented 1,500 tons of CO2 --- that’s like planting nearly 40,000 trees!
