Getting to
& from SRP
Public Transit
Relax and leave the driving to the pros.
Caltrain: Operates between San Francisco and Gilroy, providing rail service to the California Ave. Caltrain Station and Palo Alto Transit Center.
Valley Transportation Authority (VTA): Operates 4 Express Buses from the South Bay and provides a convenient connection to and from the California Ave. Caltrain station.
Dumbarton Express Bus: Connects to BART in Union City with additional stops in Fremont. Operated by AC Transit.
Shuttles
The Stanford Marguerite Shuttles are free and open to the public.
Research Park (RP) Shuttle: Serves Stanford Research Park between the downtown Palo Alto Caltrain station and SRP during peak commute hours. Note: this shuttle schedule optimally serves commuters coming to Palo Alto from the north.
California Ave (CAX) Shuttle: Serves Stanford Research Park between the California Ave Caltrain station and SRP during peak commute hours. Note: the CAX shuttle schedule optimally serves commuters coming to Palo Alto from the south. The VTA #89 bus (free transfer available) also serves Cal Ave Caltrain station.
1050A Shuttle: A direct connection to the Stanford University campus, the 1050A stops at the Li Ka Shing Center and throughout SRP.

If you work in Stanford Research Park and would like to try our 1:1 carpool-matching services over email, contact our Carpool Concierge at commute@SRPGO.com. We'll gather your unique commute info, such as work schedule and commute origin and destination addresses. Then we'll connect you with other(s) working in Stanford Research Park who align with your schedule and live/work near you.
Vanpools
Vanpools can help you save time and money while you relax on your commute.
Stanford Research Park provides a vanpool subsidy up to $100/month per participant for those who work at a SRP employer site. Contact us at SRPGO@stanford.edu for more information about this popular way to commute!
